Classroom Guidance Lessons Begin for 6th and 8th graders
Your 6th and 8th graders are beginning classroom guidance lessons with their guidance counselor through their health classes. Sixth graders will participate in lessons and activities with Mrs. Lauchner focusing on making friends and accepting others, handling anger, and dealing with teasing. Mrs. Selfe will be visiting 8th grade health classes in the month of November to discuss career and college information and high school courses. 8th grade parents: please check with your child about their Academic and Career Plan and a letter from Mrs. Selfe. The Academic and Career Plan needs to be signed by a parent and returned to your child’s Health/PE teacher. Eighth grade parents can contact Mrs. Selfe if they have any questions about this information.
