- edges are smooth and work appears well crafted and neat. Looks finished.
- first/last name and pd. # on bottom of vase. Date etched in on bottom when completed.
Creativity/Elaboration
(20 points possible)
- student creates unique and original work. Goes beyond ordinary. Utilizes design elements & principles & different materials. Different directions of coils. Student thinks outside the box.
Construction
(20 points possible)
- student scored & applied slip so that vase holds together well.
- score marks are not visible.
- student uses positive/negative template patterns to create/enhance symmetrical vase shape
- vase is at least 8" tall with 20% coil visible.
