Course Target Audience:

All persons who drive any vehicle, irrespective of the GVM of the vehicle transporting Dangerous Goods as listed in SANS 10231 and SANS 10228 (Different Hazard Classes separately or together).

A pre requirement for this training course is that the delegate has at least the equivalent of a NQF Level 3 for English , a valid driving licence, as well as at least 36 hours of supervision by a Competent Person driving Vehicles containing Dangerous Goods as well as the physical handling of Dangerous Goods.

The course is divided into two Outcomes sections:

Part A:

This is a 4 hour interactive classroom based session where theory as well as practical training is done with the delegate and they have to complete a Written Examination as part of their POE in order to be declared competent.

Part B:

This session determines if the delegate is competent in the use of the Emergency Information Systems as well as the ability to conduct Safe Loading and Off Loading as well as follow correct procedure for incidents such as Fire and Spillage ( Simulated Classroom exercises are done).

A certificate of Competence is issued to the delegates passing the Pr-DP-D courses after successfully completing a Theoretical & Practical examination.

Training is conducted at our Alberton Training Centre or a client's nominated venue in South Africa & SADC countries.

A minimum of 5 delegates are required for each presentation session.

If more than 20 delegates attend, a rate will be negotiated.
