The KMHS Coach Camp Staff would like to announce our inaugural all sports youth camp. The camp will be held Monday-Thur. in June, for ages 6 through 14 at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Our camp will focus on teaching the fundamentals and games skills of softball.

Anyone interested in attending the camp should mail their registration form by May30th.. The number of advance confirmations is very important in securing as many highly qualified instructors as possible. Also, T-shirts must be pre ordered May 30th to guarantee correct sizes. Coach Lisa Chapman: Kennesaw Mountain High School

Coach Chapman is a graduate and player of Kennesaw State University and the Athletic Coordinator at KMHS. Since opening in 2000, Kennesaw Mountain has recorded over 300 wins under the leadership of Coach Chapman. In 20 years as a coach in Cobb County, her teams have qualified for the State Tournament 17 times. In 2008, and 2009 the Mustangs went to the Final 8 in Columbus and Coach Chapman was named Cobb County Coach of the Year both seasons. The 2011 team finished 4th in the state and 2012 State Runner-Up, with the 2013 class finishing 5th! Coach Chapman is also the Executive Secretary of the Georgia Dugout Club for softball in the State of Georgia. www.georgiadugoutclub.com She has had over 23 players move on to play at all collegiate levels from KMHS alone.
