Exam Requirements
COACH2-Integral adopts an ongoing and cumulative policy of examination. The six core classes of COACH2-Integral culminate in a two-part final exam process (oral and written), however, students must also meet minimum requirements throughout all classes, namely:
Students must complete at least 100 out of a possible 130 SLCH.
COACH2-Integral utilizes an online points system in our intranet. The system is design for students (and facilitators) to track both attendance and which roles students take in each class. (Roles include welcome person, participant, PC, PBC, observer). Multipliers are applied depending on the amount of time attended and the role students take.
Students need to earn 7500 points during their COACH2 class, which must include at least 500 points of coaching experience, 500 points of PBC experience, 500 points of observer experience, and 2500 points from the Retreat Experience.
Students must turn in all assignments for each individual course to their class leader:ISIS maps, competency reviews, progress reports, and exams.
All students participate in triangulated observed coaching sessions at each of the two Semester Role Play reviews (Modules #9 and #17). Students must take the role of coach at least once in each of these Modules. (Students rotate role of coach, PBC and observer in other Modules; observed coaching is included in 20 of the 26 Modules of COACH2 class).
Students must completethe COACH2-Integral final written exam and achieve a passing score of 70% minimum.
Students must have a live, recorded and evaluated oral examination of coaching skills demonstrating the core ICF and COACH2-Integral Competencies.
At the live COACH2-Integral Retreat Experience, students must:
  1. submit their completed Competency Reviews for COACH2 Modules #9, #17 and #24,
  2. provide comprehensive written answers to all ten questions in COACH2 Module #24, and
  3. total up all points accumulated for classes attended.
Students hand these three items to a Facilitator/Master Leadership Coach System student or graduate for review and discussion.
Students must demonstrate their accurate comprehension through 70% correct answers on the three sets of Competency Reviews (questions cover material from all Modules) along with the minimum number of points (7500).
Students then take a final oral exam at the COACH2-Integral Retreat Experience. Each student demonstrates their coaching abilities with a live coaching session that is observed by one or more qualified instructors and peer evaluators. Each session is videotaped, followed by detailed feedback, and a final evaluation by a qualified instructor who is a PCC or MCC level examiner.
Alternatively, the final oral exam may be administered via telephone.
Students must also take a Final Written Exam upon completion of all six classes, and achieve a 70% pass rate for proper graduation. The Final Written Exam covers all ICF competencies, course content from COACH2, ISIS, SFDCS and CCS. By attaining a minimum of 70% correct answers, students demonstrate their understanding and retention of the teachings of COACH2-Integral.
