Coaches,

Welcome to our fifth annual Capitol City Classic. We look forward to hosting your team Saturday and Sunday at Stoughton SEA (300 Dvorak Court, Stoughton, WI) and the Verona Athletic Center (411 Prairie Heights Dr, Verona, WI.) Games begin Friday at 6:00pm and Saturday at 7:50am. We appreciate your participation.

Games can run tight, so it will be important for each team to be ready to jump onto the court to get the next game started on time. We will provide 5 minutes between games, time permitting. If courts are behind, pre-game warm-ups will only last 3 minutes. The halftime break will be 2 minutes.

Concessions will be open until the start of the last set of games.

About PDP Basketball Academy

PDP Basketball Academy is a basketball training and skill development organization, independent of any basketball club or program. PDP’s goal is to build the individual player through innovative skills training and countless hours of repetition in the gym. We run individual and group training sessions for ages 8-19 year-round. We have advanced and elite training programs. Our very best program is our Summer All-American Training program for Middle School and High School players who plan to play in College. It is truly a college preparation series where the boys train 4 hours per day, 5 days a week for 7 weeks. We have a mini 3-week version of this program for emerging Grade, Middle and High School players. Many of our tournament proceeds fund less privileged kids to develop their basketball skills.

Matt Everson, Sam Everson and I will be on-site coordinators. My cell phone number is 608-469-8113, Matt can be reached at 608-469-7370, Sam’s is 608-512-6160.

Thanks for your participation. We hope your kids enjoy your day of competition.

The concept behind the creation of PDP Basketball Academy is simple. To achieve success in the game of basketball today, players must develop strong individual basketball skills.

We provide boys and girls, grades 1-12 with the opportunity to improve their skills and achieve their goals, no matter what they are, by participating in individual workouts, weekly instruction classes, summer camps, advanced summer training programs, and strength and conditioning.

Since 2001, we have trained notable collegiate and professional basketball players including:

Kyle Weaver – Washington State and NBA

Michael Nelson – North Dakota State and Professional

Will Hudson – Oakland University and Professional

Jeronne Maymon – Tennessee and Professional

Junior Lomomba – Providence College

Robert Gilchrist – Florida State

Darral Willis – Wichita State

and over 80 other collegiate players.

We conduct basketball training sessions nearly year-round and tailor them to elementary school, middle school and high school kids. Our schedule is online at www.pdpbasketball.com.
