Dear Candidate,

Please find enclosed more streamlined version of the Wiltshire Coach Education plan for the 2012/2013 winter programme. We are running:

4 UKCC1 courses1 UKCC2 course6 Coach Development Workshops

1 Umpire Level 12 Scorers Level 15 First Aid Courses
4 Safeguarding Children Workshops

New booking process

A dramatically simplified pricing system has been put in place for 2012/13, with prices relating to your club’s affiliation package with Wiltshire Cricket Limited. For UKCC1 & 2 purposes the pricing categories will be as follows:

Focus Clubs:
Biddestone, Burbage and Easton Royal, Calne, Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Goatacre, Marlborough, Marshfield, Potterne, Purton, Swindon, Trowbridge, Warminster, Winsley, Wootton Bassett
Clubmark Clubs:
Malmesbury, Westbury and District, Westinghouse

Non WEPL/ WCCL Focus Clubs:
Redlynch and Hale, South Wilts, Steeple Langford

Non WEPL/WCCL Clubmark Clubs:
Winterslow

Other Clubs with Junior sections:
Any club not listed above

Non Wiltshire residents:
Any candidate representing a club not affiliated to Wiltshire Cricket

For CDWs, First Aid and Safeguarding & Protecting Children courses standard prices will apply.

If no and you are coaching, please note that all coach education candidates must be ECBCA members

ECBCA Membership

The ECB Coaches Association is an organisation that supports coaches of all levels through the provision of insurance services (public liability, employers liability and personal accident cover), continual coach development through the “HOWZAT” CD rom resource, “Wings to Fly” video and publications. Annual membership is extremely cheap at £30 (paid by DD) or £37 (paid by cheque)

Membership forms are included in this Coach Education pack. Please ensure that you complete this as part of your application form. Note that payments must be made separately, either by DD using the mandate on the application form or by cheque for £37, payable to “ECBCA”.

Note – Applications for coach education courses not including ECBCA membership will be returned.

FIRST AID & CHILD PROTECTION COURSES

Do you need to attend a first aid course?
(All coaches must hold a current first aid/emergency aid qualification)

Do you need to attend a Sportscoach UK “Safeguarding and Protecting Children” course? (All coaches must hold the Sportscoach version of this qualification)

Completing The Application Form
Please can you complete the two pages of the application form ensuring that you complete all the lines of the administration section. If you have already attended first aid or child protection courses, please can you ensure that you state the dates attended and include copies of your attendance certificates for the courses concerned.

For each of the courses you are attending please ensure you list the course name, date, venue and cost of the course where indicated. If you are a coach and are applying for ECBCA membership, please ensure that you complete and sign the second page of the application form.

Payment

All courses must be paid for in advance of attendance with payments being made by cheque payable to “Wiltshire Cricket Limited” and sent to:

Wiltshire Cricket Limited, Stanley Park Sports Ground, Stanley Lane, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 3RR.

If you are paying for the ECBCA membership by Direct Debit, complete and sign the DD mandate. If you are paying by cheque, please send a separate cheque for £37.00 payable to “ECBCA” with your application form.
