Clothworkers’ Hall The Grounde Plott of ffirst Story

The Capitall Messuage of Mansion howse of the Right Worshipfull Company of Clothworkers Called the Clothworkers Hall, with two Tenements adioyning thone on the north syd of the passage Leading in the Parish of St. Dunstones in the East, The Lane Called Mincheon or Minchin Lane Leading out of ffenchurch streate against the West, Sir John Watts knight and late Lord Maior of London against the South, Alhallowes Stayninges Churchyarde against the East. The Lands belonging to the sayed Company, and The Kings land and others against the North as more at Lardge doeth appeare by a Plott heereafter following./.

The Second Story of the same Hall

A Chamber ouer parte of the Parlor Called the Ladyes Chamber, with a faire Chimney on the south syde, which Chamber cont: in Length East & West 33 foote, and in bredth north and south 20 foote 9 inches, in which Chamber is a faire [Canted] window at the East end on the north syde Cont 10 foote Longe, and 7 foote broade, One other Chamber adioyning to the same being ouer parte of the Palor aforesayed Cont from East to West 19 foote 1/2, North and south 21 foote, wherein is on the north syde a Canted window Cont 8 foote 4 Inches Longe, & 7 foote broade with a faire passage vp.

One other Roome called the dry Larder cont East & West besydes the passage 41 foote, north & south 16 foote ½ there is at the East end within this Roome A Chamber called the Plate Chamber, and at the west end is a a Litle Comptinghouse.

One other roome called the Armory howse being ouer the kitchen Cont in Length East and West 35 foote 2 inches and in bredth at the East end 18 foote 4 Inches, and at the west end 17 foote 1/2 , Also one roome ouer the Ovens called the Pastry.

The Third Story

A Gallery and a Comptinghowse conteyning in Length East & west 53 foote, and in bredth north and south 16 foote ½ One the south syde of which Gallery is a Chimney and Two Gunpowder howses. Also on the north syde is a doore into a leade, conteyning the length of the Gallery and the Comptinghowse & in bredth 3 foote 9 inches besydes the two canted Leades ouer the Canted windowes aboue mencioned./.

Also one garret Chamber at the west end of the Gallery aforesayed with a skoole of ease in the sowth Corner Conteining in Length sowth & north 16 foote ½, & in bredth East & west 11 foote ½, with a dore out into a gutter on the west syde. A Seller with a paire of Staires out of the greate Courte and another paire of Buttry which Seller was sometyme parcell of the Seller vnder the Courte and Hall and Conteyneth from East to west 13 foote ½ north and south 18 foote. One other vault or Seller vnder the Longe Parlor.
