Preliminary finding

Take before and after photos of all items being repaired. Protect the coupler around the area that is being repaired with lint free cloth and / or rubber clean room glove. Use the HEPA vacuum during any particle generating operations. Remove a minimal amount of material by cutting a strip of 1200 grit Microfinish Cushioned Silicon Carbide Sanding Cloth (McMaster-Carr P/N 4611A313)as wide as the area to be abraded and long enough to wrap around your finger. ( 1/8 inch wide by 2 inches long ) Using your finger lightly abrade damaged area with a back and forth motion to remove any loose material, sharp edges, etc. Clean the repaired area with lint free clean room wipe and ethyl alcohol. Inspect repair and complete visual and metrology receiving inspection. ESD bag coupler cold part. Ship to Bldg. 6 for ultrasonic cleaning, leak check, and assemble for R.F. processing.
