CLOC same-dayprint service

CLOC providesBirkbeck with a same-day printing service, which includes collection and delivery within a set timeframe.

Procedure

  • Send your completed order form as early as possible, but no later than 10am on the day of collection. Please provide your contact details in case CLOC have any queries.
  • You should leaveany hard copies for collection from Birkbeck’s post room by 10am, orsendprint-ready electronic files by email, FTP, WeTransfer or Dropboxby 11am.
  • CLOC will deliver the finished goods back to the post roomby 5pm.
  • If you can provide files or hard copies early, or don’t need your printing delivered until after 5pm, please note this in your order.

Notes

  • Extra charges apply if any adjustmentsto the files or hard copies are required.
  • CLOC will split the order across all available machinery to make the deadline.
  • If the whole order is impossible within the available time, CLOC staff will prioritise any same-day tasks. The remainder of the order will be dispatched the following day.
  • If same-day orders are received that are too big to produce in the available time, or received without sufficient notice, CLOC will make additional provision to meet the deadline (at additional cost to you). If this provisionmeans that CLOC still can’t meet the deadline, youwill need to arrange to take receipt of the order after 5pm.
  • CLOC will communicate to you any change to cost or timeline.
  • If paper or card stock is unavailable, CLOC will use the closest available match and let you know. They will adjust their prices accordingly.
  • Books larger than 70 sheets (140 double-sided pages) cannot be stapled (based on 80gsm paper) and will need to be bound another way.
  • Send any minor issues/complaintsto Paul Richmond, and any major issues/complaints to Oliver Thomas.
