Community Power Network - Anya Schoolman and Emily Stiever from CPN in DC were in Columbus – CPN is starting a CPN network in Ohio, looking for an Ohio Program Director to start 6 CPN co-ops in Ohio to use the CPN model of group purchasing for home solar installations. CPN has started 55 co-ops across the country resulting in 900 home installations with an estimated 15 – 30% savings over regular commercial installations in Wash DC, MD and VA. Planning to work with Green Energy Ohio. See or more info.

Action Items:

Greg-website:-Created new google sites website. Will send URL to everyone. It costs $12 annually for the cec-freedom.com domain.

Bobby Jones: - made a calendar, working on CEC business cards: best to go with Vistaprint. Group approved $25 for business cards to be completed by end of the year. CEC Holiday Party: Next Monday 14th. All invited to Bobby’s house at 143 W. Blake Ave. He is making spaghetti, but bring food you want to bring. 6:00pm(614) 582-9928

MAC:-Training: Craig alerted him to some DVD’s available through OHSA – ladder safety, lifelines, etc.

-Will have a session before next installation (Dan B) to watch the DVD’s. Required training for installation volunteers.

Projects:Andrea’s been working with a structural engineer, Mac connected with Karl Wetherholt – engineer – Karl inquired about design liability for engineers, Debbie explained waivers used with homeowners.

Suzanne: Working on pricing and getting torque wrenches- can go $70 range or Snap-on $230 range.

$250 earmarked for the funds to spend on wrenches so it is committed.

Dan Brilhart interested in writing step-by-step manual.Deb proposing a charrette for community to help with goal of 10 new house projects in Feb.

FINANCIALS:From Karen Day-treasurer:$575 in bank.

$1633 left in Columbus Foundation funds committed for torque wrenches, business cards and insurance if we can find an acceptable policy. Deb will consult with Karen on this. Insurance still up in the air, looking for errors and omissions and/or accident insurance for members working on installations. No word from Michael Gruber.

OTHER CO-OP BUSINESS: Mac and maybe Dillon Borchers going to talk with Clintonville Chamber in January about CEC and PACE.

Committees:Temp work group: documentation --- should be done by charrette in February
