Dear Parents

Firstly, we would like to extend our thanks to all our parents, volunteers and swimmers who have

supported us over the last year.

As a club we aim to ensure that on an annual basis our income equals our expenditure.

The biggest expenditure of the swimming club is the hiring of the pool facilities from Gosport Leisure Centre and Brune Park. Both of these facilities are run on a commercial basis and annually review their hire charges.

The club's training fees, which are the principal means of covering these costs, have not been raised since January 2013 when we returned to Gosport Leisure Centre.

The costs of hiring the pools were increased in 2014 and again at the beginning of 2015 and we have been able to absorb these increases.

The committee have reviewed the increased pool costs against the income and unfortunately, it has now become necessary to raise our monthly training fees to cover the increase in costs.

The following increases will apply when we resume our normal swimming timetable in September:

If you make your payment by direct debit or standing order, please remember to update the instructions to your bank.
