You are summoned to attendDIGBYPARISH COUNCIL MEETING to be held in the Digby War Memorial Hall onWednesday 20th Sept 2017commencing at 7.00pm for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting as set out hereunder.

PUBLIC SESSION

The meeting will be preceded by a public forum (7.00-7.15), when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council.

d)To discuss concerns of residents on North Street regarding area of vacant land abutting their properties.

8.HIGHWAYS

a)Update on the application for a school safety zone for Church Street

c)Update on purchasing speed limit stickers for wheelie bins

9.THE VILLAGE HALL

a)Questions, if any, regarding the recent village hall committee meeting.

b)Update on garden footway lighting

c)To consider additional cuts of the lawn as the grass is still growing.

10.DRAINAGE

a)To elect a representative.

b)To report any updates from LCC, IDB or the Environment Agency

11.PLAYING FIELD, PLAY AREAS AND VILLAGE GENERAL

a)Consider a request to Bowls Club to ask permission for the Football Club to use the pavilion for the referees and consider a replacement football cabin

b)To discuss the results from RoSPA equipment inspection.

c)To consider purchasing replacement litterbins for the playing field.

d)To consider prices for equipment for playing field, fencing around the childrens play area and applying for grants.
