Clear Falls Football Booster Club
General Membership Meeting
June 18th 2015
Opening: The Regular Meeting of the Clear Falls Football Booster Club General Membership was called to order at 7.00 pm on June 18thth at Fuddruckers Restaurant by Carla Wade.
Purpose: Carla Wade stated the sole purpose of the CFFBC is to raise money and donate our time to support our Clear Falls Football Program.
Present: Carla Wade, Monica Schmid, William Broadus Kristin Broadus, Patrick Bias, DeAnn Bias, Ed Rainey, Rob Janney, Robin Sabo, Beth Musgrave, Bill Musgrave, Kelly Ford, Eric Ford, Curtistine White, Michael Gutierrez, Lisette Gutierrez, Jessica Foley, Sheyla Alvarez and John Richard
Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the previous meeting from May 19th, 2015 were distributed and reviewed. Motion to accept the minutes was made by Bill Broadus and 2nd by DeAnn Bias. Minutes were voted for approval and approved by all.
Discussion Items:
Financials: Kristin Broadus reviewed activity. Current Revenue 8,638.75. Expenditures 1,164.48 to purchase merchandise. Motion to accept financials was made by DeAnnBias and 2nd by first Rob Ranney.
Coach Zerlein: Coach stated that SWAT has had a good turnout . He has changed the routine to include flexibility. 7 on 7 will continue this coming week. Date for tournament TBD in Houston. Football Camp will start July 20th. Clear Falls Graduated Seniors will work with our players at during camp. We will have Picture day, scrimmage and Meet the Knights on Saturday August 8th. Coach changes have occurred. Coach feels positive about the new coaches coming in. So far 92 Freshmenhave signed up making it the largest group to date. Expenditures 2,900. Coach Zierlein has asked for a chute for new season. Board has approved the purchase of the chute. Players can check out their jerseys to take pictures for the adds. Coach stated that the new stadium may not be ready at the beginning of this year. Encourage your player to attend SWAT. Stay active.
Game Day Programs:Biggest fund raiser: We will sell programs at varsity, jv and freshmen games. It is a great opportunity to showcase your player. Carla will be the chair person. Monica Schmid and Freddie Gonzalez will co-chair. Two photographers available if needed.
Senior Bios: Forms were distributed to be included in the game day program.
Committee sign ups: Forms distributed. Committee’s needed for merchandise, program add committee, Meet the knights, Varsity Grill Committee,
Merchandise: new shirts available. Jackie Jeffery’s bling shirts from Artistic Promotion shirts will be available soon.
Meet the Knights: We will have a dessert bar and sell merchandise, programs, memberships, and have a silent Auction. We would like to include a dunking booth and a mechanical bull for entertainment.
