Principal’s Summary:

This is the time of year that we say goodbye to our amazing students that make up the class of 2017. On May 31st, 182 seniors will participate in our commencement ceremony, which will be held at 8pm at Florence High School. Some of these students will be leaving FHS to begin their careers immediately. Others have plans to serve and protect our country by joining one of the branches of our armed forces. Many of our seniors will be starting their post-secondary education close to home at Central Arizona College on the “Promise to the Future” scholarship, while others will be attending various universities throughout the United States.

Their time at Florence High School has shaped each of these outstanding young men and women into responsible adults that are ready to spread their wings and fly . I am confident that the members of the class of 2017 will represent FHS proudly as the future leaders within our own community and throughout our great country. Regardless of where our seniors go, I hope that they will always cherish the positive experience that they have had at FHS, and remember that they will ALWAYS be Florence Gophers. Congratulations class of 2017!
