CLASS TITLE:PLANNING AND BUDGETING SPECIALIST - SES
ALLOCATION FACTOR(S)
This is work advising and coordinating the development and implementation of planning and budgeting activities for an agency or division with diversified and varied activities.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:

- Develops and implements procedures to effect the planning and budgeting program, including the Six-Year Plan.
- Develops performance measures and criteria to be used in evaluating programs.
- Develops work load statistics for presentation in planning and budgeting documents.
- Interprets the operating budgets furnished the agency by the Governor's Office of Planning and Budgeting pursuant to legislative appropriations.
- Develops procedures to monitor program expenditures.
- Serves in a liaison capacity between the agency or division, the Office of Planning and Budgeting, and legislative staff.
- Performs related work as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and procedures.
