Clarification required

DearMr Smith,

Thank you for your request for the information below which I am dealing with under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Ruislip Residents' Association, reporting on the CNWL Board Meeting 13 March 2013, wrote that:
“The JADE patient records computer system: Some problems were noted which are still being addressed. The delay in getting this system in place continues to cause concern.”

The actual minutes from the Board Meeting state:

ICT

The Committee were updated on progress with JADE migration and informed that a possibleissue hadarisen around renaming of teams and the effect this has on historical data, whichneeds to be fully explored. The Committee were advised that the impact of JADE not beingaligned to service lines was impacting on CQUIN achievement. It was noted as well that theTrust’s ability to report on performance while data migration took place would be impacted. TheCommittee expressed their continuing concern at the delays that were affecting the JADEmigration and the impact this was having on performance. The Committee has requested amore detailed analysis of what can and can’t be provided and assurance that data required for

Commissioners can still be produced. The Committee noted that oversight of the technicaldifficulties being faced would be carried out by the Informatics Committee.

In respect of this what was stated by the Ruislip Residents Association is not correct, and I have requested that they take measures to correct this immediately.
