A favorite Senior/Super Senior Tournament held in the Berkshires at the 2nd year venue - Country Club of Pittsfield MA. Play is on 5 Har-Tru courts. .

Men’s Singles: M85s, M80s, M75s, M70s Friday, July 23 not before 9 am
Men’s Singles: M55s; M60s (designated); M65s Friday, July 23 not before11 am
Women’s Singles:W60s,W70s (sectional) Saturday, July 24 not before 11am
All Doubles: Saturday, July 24 not before 11 am

Mixed Dbls.X45d, (Men and Women 45 and above); X65d (sectional) (Men and Women 65 and above)
Matches will be best of three sets with a Set Tiebreak (1st to 7 with a margin of 2)
All events will play FMLC. First Match Loser Consolation (FMLC) on Clay Courts. FMLC and Indoor Matches (if necessary) will be best of 3 sets with a Deciding Set Tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set (1st to 10 with a margin of 2).
Trophies given to Finalists in the Main Draws and Consolations.
For SECTIONAL EVENT(S) listed above: 1) The entrant’s membership address must be in the New England section. 2) Consolations will be played. 3) A Sectional event counts as two tournaments towards a player’s end-of-year ranking.
Out-of-Section players may compete in events not listed as Sectional Events.
Player Selection Type: Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry Type: Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 19, 2010, 5 pm Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online.

DETAILS:
Check In at Country Club of Pittsfield courts begins on Friday, July 23 @ 8:30 am;
Saturday July 24 @ 10:30 am
1. Current USTA membership required.
2. Report 30 minutes before start of the events entered. (15 minute default rule) (10 minute warm-up!)
3. Players may not play in more than two (2) events.
4. All players may be expected to play two-rounds the first day in each event, as needed.
5. New balls are available for third sets of semi-final and final matches.
6. All players must report scores to the officials’ table immediately at the end of the match.
7. Spectators bring your own chairs.

NEW ENGLAND SENIOR TENNIS FOUNDATION DINNER:
Friday evening at 6:30 pm at the Country Club of Pittsfield (cash bar w/dinner to follow at 7:30 pm)
Pay $5 for each person including guest. Online registrants pay at Check-In AND contact Tournament Director with Reservation and Menu Choice(s) by close Tuesday, July 20.
Choices: Roast Stuffed Pork Loin, Chicken Saltimbocca, Broiled Stuffed Tilapia, Eggplant
Draw Limits: Friday Matches are limit of 16, All Saturday starting Matches are limit of 8.
For tournaments with start dates after December 2008 the total fee will be displayed at checkout.
