Minutes of Mid North Community Passenger Transport Network Committee meeting held on 5December 2016 at the Council Chambers, 4 Gleeson Street, Clare at 10.30am.

  1. NOTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING ACCEPTED

A letter was sent to DCSI from the Steering Committee supporting Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council Management decision not to sign the agreement until further negotiations are held with DCSI. No response has been received.

It was suggested that the Coordinator further discuss the situation with David Stevenson (CLGR) and follow up with a letter to Zoe Bettison M.P.

7PROCEDURAL MATTERS

7.1Questions on Reports

7.1.1Coordinator – To get another quote from Steinborners for the new 2.0ltr Hyundai as the trade in figure was too low. To also get a quote on a 2.5 ltr Hyundai.

7.1.2 Thatthe Steering Committee has agreed to the purchase of two carsonce the adjusted quote is received.

7.1.3Coordinator – To review wording in the Coordinator’s report to reflect advertising rather than sponsorship.

7.1.4Coordinator – To approach other bowling clubs in the MNCPN region in the 2018 season.

7.1.5The Steering Committee supports the Coordinator advertising the CPN through bowling clubs.

7.1.6 At the March meeting a workshop will be held to discuss and review the 2017 / 2018 Annual Budget.

8. NEXT MEETING

The next meeting of the Mid North Community Passenger Network is to be held on Monday 5thMarch at the Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council Boardroom commencing at 10.30am, and will include a workshop / review on the 2017 / 2018 Annual Budget.

9. CLOSURE

The meeting was declared closed at 11.40am
