Southside City Fest 2014

The City of Southside cordially invites you to participate in our 2014 City Festival. The event will be held Saturday, July 19th, on the grounds of Southside High School. We will host a number of fun and exciting activities for the whole family. There will be a children’s area, vendor marketplace, and all day concerts!
Entertainment for this year’s event will be “Stereo Revival”, “The Brooke Danielle Band”, “Them Dirty Roses”, followed by one of country music’s greatest, “John Michael Montgomery”.
Booth space will be available for arts, craft, and food vendors. Each space will be fifteen feet deep and twenty feet wide. The spaces will be numbered. The cost of each space will be $75.00 for arts, crafts, and merchandise vendors, and businesses and organizations. The charge for food vendors is $125.00 per space.
Food vendors must visibly post food and drink prices (only tea and water-no soft drinks or lemonade). No advance ticket sales on food items are allowed. Vendors must also provide tables, stands, chairs, etc. for their booth. Please bring table covers and have boxes, extra items, and personal items stored underneath tables.
Electricity will be available on a limited basis (approximately 50 electrical spaces with 110 volt outlets). Food vendors will have priority but are encouraged to bring their own generator if possible. Generators must be “low noise”. Vendors who are provided with an electrical space may use extension cords; however, you will not be allowed to “over-load” circuits by using multiple extension cords and multiple appliances.
If you would like to participate in our Festival, complete the application and return it along with your check or money order. Spaces are limited. Make checks payable to the City of Southside and mail to the address listed below.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ANY VENDORS WITH TRAILERS TO ARRIVE FOR SET-UP BETWEEN 9:00 A.M. AND 10:00 A.M. THE DAY OF THE EVENT. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TRAILER PLEASE ARRIVE BETWEEN 10:30 A.M. AND 11:30 A.M. For your convenience, vendors with trailers may set-up on Friday July 18th between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Set-up must be completed and in place no later than 1:30 p.m. the day of the event. The festival will begin at 2:00 p.m. Please enter through the “vendor gate” located on School Drive in front of Southside High School. Food vendors must stay in place until the end of the event. Vehicles will not be allowed to drive through or leave before 10:00 p.m. Arts and Craft Vendors must stay until 8:00 p.m. but are requested to stay until the end of the event.
The City of Southside and the Southside Festival Committee will not be held responsible for any injury or loss that may occur to the vendor or their assistants.
