The City is providing Appendix ‘E’ in Microsoft word format for ease of completion. The tables below in the Microsoft Word format will be expandable. If your RESPONSE is considered to be lengthy, Respondents can provide an “initial” RESPONSE and then provide the details as an Appendix referencing the Question No. (i.e. additional information to Q1.).

Q4. / It is a mandatory requirement that the application vehicle must have a metering system that has the capability to record the litres per square metre and total volume applied as per Specifications.

Only those sub-contractors listed in response to this question may be used for the provision of the Work, unless prior approval is requested from the City. It is the Contractors responsibility to ensure that all sub-contractors will comply with all terms and conditions described in this RFT and any Contract formed.

PRICING

All unit prices shall be remain FIRM and shall include, without limitation, materials, equipment/vehicles, fuel, fuel surcharge, barge costs both ways (applies to Protection Island), wait times, insurance, permits, overhead and profit and any other direct or indirect costs incurred by the Contract for the completion of the Services required. Unit prices exclude the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and Goods and Services Tax (GST). These taxes are shown as a separate line item.

In the case of mistakes, unit price will govern.

The quantities shown are approximate estimates only and no guarantee is given as to actual quantities required. Any reduction or increase in quantities will be invoiced at the Unit Price per Litre quoted.
