Invocation by:

To hear public comments: The public will be able to voice their concerns and questions. No interaction between the public and council can be entered into during this session. Requests to place an item on the next agenda can be heard and noted. Please limit your scope of concern and limit the time to a 3 minute interlude.

BUSINESS TO DISCUSS

  1. To discuss and consider paying Bianca’s Salary out of the Operating Account instead of Enterprise Account. She works equally on both and our CPA said that it is ok to do so since she works on both sides of the City’s business. We will adjust the budget accordingly.
  2. To discuss and consider the local crime situation.
  3. To discuss and consider the City’s Rates and Fees and the potential need to raise them to reflect the City’s cost with labor, equipment and garbage disposal fees.
  1. To discuss and consider the EDCA Board, minutes from last meeting and Bank Statement that City CPA provided.
  1. To discuss and consider purchasing fromour “Transportation Related Projects & Equipment” (2014 Certificate of Obligation-2014) an all-around specific piece of transportation/road equipment, a Bobcat, with specialized attachments that will sweep a road, then prepare the road(by chopping it all up), then place asphalt down, then roll it and then sweep it again. Estimated total cost $120,000. Knox City has one and really likes it. In addition, this equipment could be used for several other purposes when needed, from moving tree branches to mowing to backhoe.
  1. To read and approve the following:

1) Read and approve all previous minutes

2)Hear and approve judges report

3)Hear and approve monthly police report

4)Review monthly bills

  1. Paid bills June 2016
  2. Future bills July2016

5)Review monthly financial statements

6)Hear administrators report

The City Council of Munday reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071, 551.072, 551.073, 551.074, 551.076, and 551.086
