RemovalandReplacementofanewshingledroofand PTO type membrane roof at

304 NW 8th Street, Mulberry, FL 33860

TheCity of Mulberryisseekingproposalsfrom qualified contractorstofurnish andinstall anewshingled

roof

Scopeofwork:

Provideallnecessarymaterials,laborandequipmenttocompleteshingle workon eastern half of the structure (approximately 4000 sq); and TPO or equivalent induction welded, 60 mil, membrane style roof (approximately 4500sq)on the western half of the structure. Additionally, all fascia, soffit, and gutter work will be performed on the entire structure as needed.

-Striprooftobarewood ononlyat location: 304 NW 8th St., Mulberry, FL 33860

-Replace or repairexistingplywoodor otherboardswhereneeded.

-Coverremainingroofwithhighperformancefeltpaper.

-Architectural/Dimension style shingles-Thecolor TBD

-Repairsealsaroundexhaust pipes/vents

-Contractorshallkeepworkareaneatattheendofeachworkdayandcontainedthroughthedurationofthejob.

Proposalswillbeaccepteduntil 4:00PMJuly 22, 2016.Proposalsreceivedafterthistimewillbereturnedunopened.Faxedproposalswillnotbeaccepted. Per City Charter, all proposals will be opened in the presence of the City Commission on August 2, 2016.

2.WITHDRAWALOFPROPOSALS:Aproposerwillbepermittedtowithdrawtheirproposalunopenedafterithasbeendepositedifsuch request isreceived inwritingpriortothe time specifiedfortheopeningofthe proposals.

3.OPTIONALSITEVISIT:Allprospectivebiddersmayobtainatourof thepropertybycontactingRick Johnsonat (863)978-7705.ProspectivebiddersshallnotenterthesitewithoutreceivingPRIORpermission.

4.RESERVATIONOFRIGHTS:TheCity of Mulberryreservesthe righttoreject anyandallproposals,towaivetechnical, orlegaldeficiencies,andtoacceptanyproposalthat it deemsto be inthebestinterestofthe City.

5.WARRANTY:Thecontractorshallsubmita copyofthemanufacturer’s warrantyindicatingdurationofsaidwarrantyandinstalltheshinglesaccordingtothe manufacturer’sinstructions.

6.SPECIFICATIONS:Thebiddershallfurnish informationrelatedtothespecificationsoftheproductsbeingused.

7.COST/SCHEDULE:Thebiddershallfurnish acostproposalandschedule as partofthepackage.ThecontractorshallcompletetheworkbyNovember1,2016.

8.SEPARABILITY:The City of Mulberrywillacceptonlyfullpackagesforallrequestedelements.Proposalssubmittedwithout allscopeofworkitemsincluded shallbe disqualified.

9.Acopyofapplicableinsurancecertificate(s)mustaccompanybids.Minimumcoverageis$1,000,000peroccurrence,$2,000,000aggregate on general liability;Worker’sCompensationCoverageincompliancewith State Law.
