Seats Still Available for Tomorrow’s Community Classroom Seminar
GREENSBORO, NC (June 7, 2017) – A few openings are still available for people to participate in tomorrow’s free Community Classroom seminar on texting and driving. The event is open to all ages, and includes a demonstration of the dangers of being distracted behind the wheel.
It will be held at the Public Safety Training Center, 1510 N. Church St. from 6-8 pm.

Launched in 2016, the interactive sessions address areas of police work that are frequently requested by the public.
“We enjoy sharing different aspects of our work with community members,” said Police Chief Wayne Scott. “The seminars in 2017 offer a good variety of topics. Some highlight our training. Some illustrate the challenges of our profession. Others allow us to share our expertise in relevant issues. Most importantly, all of the classes offer a better understanding of how we serve the people in our city.” Seminars with availability are:
