L.1.a.Bylaw No. 11483 - To Close a Portion of 111 Avenue Road Right-of-Way abutting Lot 2, Block 14, Plan 5179 KS, located at the northeast corner of 151 Street and 111 Avenue, High Park Industrial.

PURPOSE

Once closed, the land will be consolidated with the abutting Lot 2, Block 14, Plan 5179 KS.

S. Inglis, representing Lucerne Foods, was in attendance to speak in favour of the passing of Bylaw No. 11483.

L.1.b.Bylaw No. 11485 - To Close a Portion of Road Right-of-Way, Located at the northeast corner of 97 Street and 153 Avenue, Eaux Claires.

PURPOSE

Once closed, the land will be consolidated with the parcel to the east.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw No. 11485.

L.1.c.Bylaw No. 11503 - To Close a Portion of Highway Street, Plan 1194 MC, commonly known as Old Fort Road, located south of Manning Drive and north of 211 Avenue, Rural North East Horse Hill.

PURPOSE

Once closed, the area will be consolidated with the adjacent parcel (Lot C, Plan 1194 MC) to the east.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw No. 11503.

L.1.d.Bylaw No. 11504 - To Close a Portion of Road Right-of-Way Adjacent to Lot 1, Block 5, Plan 782 0005, located south of 107 Avenue and east of 184 Street, Wilson Industrial.

PURPOSE

Once closed, the area will be consolidated with Lot 1, Block 5, Plan 782 0005.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw No. 11504.

L.1.e.Bylaw No. 11507 - To Amend the Land Use Bylaw from IM (Medium Industrial) District to IB (Industrial Business) District; located at 16830 - 111 Avenue, West Sheffield Industrial.

PURPOSE

To allow for the development of industrial business uses on the site.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw No. 11507.

L.1.f.Bylaw No. 11508 - To Amend the Land Use Bylaw from CHY (Highway Corridor) District to CB2 (General Business) District; located at 4605 - Calgary Trail Northbound, Calgary Trail Northbound.

PURPOSE

To allow for the development of general business uses on the site.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw No. 11508.

L.1.g.Bylaw No. 11510 - To Amend the Land Use Bylaw from AGI (Industrial Reserve) District to IB (Industrial Business) District; located at 7315 - 50 Street, Weir Industrial.

PURPOSE

To allow development of industrial business uses on the site.

Hans M. Reich, representing the applicant, was in attendance to speak in favour of the passing of Bylaw No. 11510.

Mayor Smith asked whether there was any objection to Bylaw Nos. 11505 and 11506 being dealt with together. No one objected.

L.1.h.Bylaw No. 11505 - To Amend Bylaw No. 5768, as amended, being the West Jasper Place (South) Area Structure Plan through an amendment to Bylaw No. 5915, being the Jamieson Place Neighbourhood Structure Plan, as amended; for an area located west of 184 Street and south of 51 Avenue, Jamieson Place.

PURPOSE

The proposed amendment will change the configuration of a stormwater management facility, eliminate a portion of a proposed open space corridor, and reconfigure the local roadway pattern in the undeveloped southern part of the Neighbourhood.

L.1.i.Bylaw No. 11506 - To Amend the Land Use Bylaw from AGU (Urban Reserve) District, PU (Public Utility) District and RF1 (Single Detached Residential) District to RF1 (Single Detached Residential) District, PU (Public Utility) District and AGU (Urban Reserve) District; for an area located west of 184 Street and south of 51 Avenue, Jamieson Place.

PURPOSE

This amendment changes the districting in the area of the stormwater management facility and the open space corridor as described in the amendment to the Neighbourhood Structure Plan.

There were no persons present to speak to the passing of Bylaw Nos. 11505 and 11506.

L.1.j.Bylaw No. 11521 - To Amend the Text of the Land Use Bylaw by Adding Appendix I to Section 818 - Overlay Schedule for Major and Minor Secondhand Stores.

PURPOSE

To add Appendix I to Section 818 of the Land Use Bylaw, which designates areas
where the Overlay Schedule for Major and Minor Secondhand Stores shall apply. The proposed Overlay will require an applicant to first consult with surrounding property owners and the President of the Community League before applying for a development permit to develop a secondhand store, including a pawnshop.

J. Austin, A. Anderson and D. Searle were in attendance to speak in favour of the passing of Bylaw No. 11521.

PURPOSE

To accommodate row housing on the site.

L.1.l.Bylaw No. 11495 - To Amend Bylaw No. 5739, as amended, being the Edmonton North Area Structure Plan through an amendment to the Klarvatten Neighbourhood Structure Plan, Bylaw 6368, as amended, located north of 167 Avenue and west of 82 Street.

PURPOSE

The proposed amendment adds provincial release lands to the north portion of the neighbourhood, designates land uses for the former town centre lands, redistributes land uses, reconfigures the school/park site, and conserves a natural wetland area.

L.1.m.Bylaw No. 11511 - To Amend the Land Use Bylaw from AG (Agricultural) District to RF1 (Single Detached Residential) District and RSL (Residential Small Lot) District; located west of 82 Street and south of future 173 Avenue, Klarvatten.

PURPOSE

To accommodate low density residential development.

L.1.n.Bylaw No. 11512 - To Amend the Land Use Bylaw from AG (Agricultural) District to RF1 (Single Detached Residential) District, RSL (Residential Small Lot) District, RF5 (Row Housing) District and CSC (Shopping Centre) District; located at 8604 - 167 Avenue, Klarvatten.

PURPOSE

To accommodate the development of low density residential, multiple family residential and a shopping centre.
