THE WEST CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2014 AT 5:30 PM IN WORKSHOP AT THE WEST COMMUNITY CENTER, 205 W. TOKIO RD. THE PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

1.  Jay Scott and Gail Bertrand regarding KAI economic development findings/report.

2.  Discussion of agenda items.

THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING WILL START AT 6:00 PM AT THE WEST COMMUNITY CENTER, 205 W. TOKIO RD.

5. Citizen Comments: Citizens may be heard on any subject, but no discussion by or with Council will be held on any matter not listed on an official agenda as required by law.

6. Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Jay Scott regarding KAI economic development findings/report.

7. Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: West Youth football “Pig Finale” request for fireworks – Jonathan Davis.

8. Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Pat Moriarty - Republic representative regarding trash service.

9. Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Brian Uptmor – Progressive Waste representative regarding trash service.

10.  Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: TxCDBG Contract #7214479 Sewer Improvements Project - to award the engineering services portion of the contract.

11.  Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: TxCDBG Contract #7214479 Sewer Improvements Project - to award the management/administrative services portion of the contract.

12.  Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: sewer main issue on Roberts St.

13.  Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Freddy Taylor – N. Main property building permit exception; W/S tap exception; waive inspection process; new construction.

14.  Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Commercial wastewater increase per water rate study effective November 1st.

15.  Executive Session: Under the provisions of Government Code 551, the Council will meet in Executive Session to discuss:

1.  Executive Session: A closed meeting will be held pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Government Code (V.C.T.A.) included, but limited to, update from outside legal counsel regarding legal matters.

16.  Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Monthly Departmental Reports
