Principal’s Summary:

What a great school year. We had a number of special events to wrap up. The highlights were the awards ceremonies for all grade levels, a band concert, NJHS Induction of 15 students, Student Council elections, book fair, kindergarten promotion, all culminating with the eighth grade promotion and dance. It was difficult to say goodbye to the eighth graders. The last week of school was unbelievable. The kids were on task and engaged in the classroom. It was a great end to the school year.

While all of the great activities were going on, we were also planning for the next school year. All of the students have been moved to their new classrooms and are ready to roll up to the next grade. We have done all of our scheduling from the students to the teachers. The big highlight was that after several planning meetings the lead teachers were already excited for the new school year. I could not ask for a more positive response than to have teaches all ready to return. We are taking our breaks and then will come back ready to serve the kids.

Go Gophers!
