Cincinnati CPCU Society Chapter Scholarship

This spring the Cincinnati CPCU Society Chapter will award up to four$1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college studentswho are immediately related to Chapter members. Students should excel in academics, community service activities and school-related activities. In addition, students must submit an essay.

This scholarship may be for your student if...

  • They are active in their school and community
  • They have at least a 3.0 GPA and are a graduating senior or currently attending a college or university
  • You are a currentpaidCincinnati CPCUSociety Chapter member

  1. All essays must be typed and double-spaced.

Guidelines for Cincinnati CPCUSociety Chapter Scholarship

As a part of its mission to provide value to chapter membership, the Cincinnati CPCU SocietyChapter provides educational financial assistance in the form of scholarships to graduating high school and college students (including spouses) of current chapter members. Stepchildren are also eligible.

The Cincinnati CPCU SocietyChapter reaches out to a new generation of potential insurance professionalsby encouraging high school students to look at the role insurance plays in serving our society and prompting interest in insurance careers.

To inspire the future participation of young people in the insurance service industry, a scholarship fund has been established to recognize high school and/or college students who have set an example for theirpeers by working to support activity in community service and school-related activities.

Each spring, monetary scholarships are awarded in amounts based on availability of funds to student(s)who excel in academics and are involved in their communities.

The recipients will be selected from candidates who submit the prescribed information electronicallyby the deadline. Winners will be notified by email.

The scholarship committee of the Cincinnati CPCU Society Chapter will review the applications and identify scholarship recipients eachspring.

We will award up to four $1,000 scholarships.

The scholarship may to be used for tuition, room and board, or books.
