Context : Projects represent a new breed of practitioning skills & competencies required in the industry. The progress of the industry in achieving its future goals is dependent on Managing projects & success of Projects is a function of managing a large network of interdependent activities of which Procurement is the one which spans all the phases of a project & may well be impacting the post delivery customer experience of the supplying organization too.

Further more Purchase & Supply activities are pivotal in the success of projects. The ability of the organization to be able to deliver on time, with-in budget & without compromising in the initial scope is largely dependent on the supply side being able to match its performance to the project needs, which in turn are based on the customer needs.

Faculty Profile: Pinak Kulkarni

Pinak is a “Purchasing & Supply Chain focused Business Performance Improvement” practitioner of multiple improvement philosophies, tools and techniques. He has a long, extensive & global experience in Manufacturing Industry, Supply Chain & Technology Consulting and Training. He works in the domains of “Project Management, Supply Strategy, Risk Management, Lean, Supply Chain Management, Supply Management, Inventory Management, New Product Introductions” etc.

Pinak has hands-on experience in the domain industry in which he has successfully played roles in Supply Chain Planning, Supply Planning, Third Party Purchase, Outsourcing, Vendor Development, Channel Partner Management, Inventory Management etc. He also was a key project resource for a large scale improvement project. Pinak delivers Management Development Programs in the domain of Supply Chain Management, Supply / Materials Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Lean, Inventory, Supply Strategy, New Product Development, etc. The feedback average for the programs delivered by Pinak is 9.6/10. Fees include participation, course material (hard copies), working veg. lunch and tea / coffee. Advance payment of fees is to be drawn in favour of “Confederation of Indian Industry”. A 10% discount will be admissible on three or more nominations from an organization. Participation fees are non-refundable/ non-adjustable against any other programme of CII, but change in nomination(s) is accepted.

Registration: Prior registration for participation by the sponsoring companies is necessary. Number of participants will be limited to 20. Certificate of Participation will be given to the participants.
