Christmas Post Box
The Christmas post box will go up in the entrance from Friday 1stDecember. For those of you who are new to the school and do not know how this works all you need to do is make sure each envelope is clearly named, including the surname if possible and which class the child is in. Each day children from Class 4 will sort and deliver the cards to each class.
FOS Christmas Fair 1/12/17
Thank you for all the wonderful donations already received. We will be running the following stalls on the night. Donations of cakes may be left in the reception area.
Raffle, refreshments, tombola, cake stall, chocolate tombola, water to wine stall, guess the weight of the cake, lollipop game, name the teddy plus many more.
Please also come along to visit Santa, you will need to book an appointment as you arrive, you are then free to go and enjoy the rest of the fair without standing in line.
Rotary Carol Concert 11/12/17
Market Rasen Rotary is holding an ‘Evening of Carols and Music’ on Monday 11th December in the Methodist Chapel, Market Rasen at 7pm. I will be accompanying the children along Mrs Ward. If your child/children would like to take part they need to be at the Methodist Chapel for 6.45pm. You are more than welcome to stay and take part; the service usually lasts for approximately one hour. Please return the slip below indicating if your child/children will be taking part.
KS1 Christmas play 12/12/17
We would like to invite Class 1 and 2 parents to our KS1 production – “Lights, Camel, Action”. There will be two performances on Tuesday 12th December at 1pm and 6pm. It would be preferable for anyone with small children to attend the afternoon performance. For the purpose of seating arrangements and fireregulations we have allocated two seats per family for both performances. Please complete the slip below indicating whether you are attending or not and how many seats you require for either performance.
For the evening performance children will need to return to school at 5.40pm in order to change into their costumes.
There is no charge for either performance as we are very grateful to you all for supporting us throughout the year, however there will be a ‘bucket’ if you so wish to make a donation.
KS2 Performance
Class 3 & 4 will be performing Who? as part of the church service on Monday 18th December at 1.30pm. Costume requests will follow.
Christmas Lunch 13/12/17

Pantomime Trip 14/12/17
May we please have all outstanding pantomime payments by Friday 8th December.
We will be leaving school at 9.45am for the 11am performance of “Aladdin”at Lincoln Theatre Royal on Thursday 14th December.
All children need to be in school uniform and will need to bring a packed lunch for when we return at approximately 2pm. A goody bag including a drink will be provided for each child, but as we are not due to return to school until 2pm can all parents please provide a small cling wrapped sandwich for children to add to their goody bag. There will be no hot meals on this day.
Class 4 ‘Ancient Greece – ‘Come to Life’ 15/12/17
Parents of class 4 children are invited to their Ancient Greece presentation on Friday 15th December at 9am. No family assembly on this day.
KS1 Christmas Party 15/12/17 & KS2 Christmas Party 13/12/17
These will be held in the afternoon; children can bring their party clothes in a named carrier bag in the morning and change after lunch.
School Carol Concert 18/12/17
Parents are welcome to attend the School Carol Concert in the Church on Monday 18th at 1.30pm.
