Dear Parents/Carers
Poppy Appeal
As previously advised, we will be selling wristbands, reflectors and friendship bracelets to raise funds for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appealuntil Friday 10th November 2017. The suggested donation is £1.00 and we are happy to accept old £1.00 coins.
Christmas Meal/Party
I am pleased to inform you that once again the children will be having their Christmas meal and party at Thorndon village hall. This will take place on Thursday 14th December. We will be walking the children over to arrive for midday. Following lunch the children will have a party at the hall and we hope to have a visit from Father Christmas! The children will be back at school in time for collection.
Pupils should arrive at school in the morning dressed in their party clothes.
Christmas Holidays
The children finish for the Christmas holidays on Tuesday19thDecember and return to school on Thursday 4thJanuary following the staff training day.
Clubs
All school run clubs will finish on Thursday30th November.
I can also confirm that the last swimming session will be Monday 11th December.

Nut Allergy
To all new parents and a reminder to everyone else, we have pupils in school with severe allergies. Please, therefore ensure that pupils are not sent into school with any type of nut product, including peanut butter sandwiches or snack bars containing nuts. Your co-operation in this matter is appreciated.
