TITLE: Senior Community Program Specialist
LOCATION: Division of Developmental Disabilities, Upper Central Region 110 East 5th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060.
SALARY: $52,458.55 - $74,335.84
DEFINITION: Under direction of the supervising Community Program Specialist or other supervisory official within Community Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Department of Human Services, is responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of client programs and living arrangements, and other related services; does other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree.
NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of program delivery experience in providing education, habilitative, or social services in programs for the developmentally disabled.
SPECIAL NOTE: May be required to engage in lifting clients when working in a setting which provides direct services to clients who are non-ambulant or who are semiambulant and/or have severe physical handicaps.
