Current news, plans and visualizations - the new website of the Chopin Airport City project has just been launched. Potential investors and leaseholders can now follow the progress in theconstruction of the first Polish airport city, located near Warsaw Chopin Airport.
The website all necessary information about the project: key facts, scheduled implementation stages and technical details of the planned facilities. Visitors will be kept up to date with all the latest developments on the project. “The website is particularly addressed to our future business partners, who will be able to find out more about the vision of Chopin Airport City.” explains Aleksandra Matuszewska, PPL’s Representative for Chopin Airport City.
Available on the website is a promotional video, allowing viewers to take a look around the area and learn some key facts about the project. Also to be found on the website is an interactive plan showing buildings, floor spaces of given facilities and the number of assigned parking spaces. Provided as an addition to the plan are visualizations with different parts of the airport city.
Chopin Airport City is an investment of “Polish Airports” State Enterprise. This modern office and retail complex will be located in the immediate neighborhood of Warsaw Chopin Airport terminal. Construction work is scheduled to start in 2014.

- Chopin Airport City is the first project of its kind in Poland, reflecting the worldwide trend of building small airport towns with commercial functions. The investment is carried out by “Polish Airports” State Enterprise (PPL).
- PPL was founded in 1987. Its activities include the construction and operation of airports and terminals, as well as provision of services to passengers and airlines.PPL is the operator of Warsaw Chopin Airport – the largest airport in Poland. It also holds shares in companies managing ten other Polish airports, handling agents as well as other companies, including hotel operators.
- Chopin Airport City is an office and retail complex situated in Warsaw, approx 150m from Chopin Airport’s passenger terminal, 10km from the city centre.
- The total area is 22.5ha and the usable floor space of the buildings is over 170000 sq m.
- The project includes modern A-class office-buildings, conference halls, leisure centers and a park with ornamental ponds integrated with the office building area. Also, located in the immediate neighborhood of Chopin Airport will be two premium- and one economy-class hotels.
- Construction will start in 2014.
