Chicago SHRM Announces a New Alliance with
DePaul University’s School for New Learning
We are excited to announce a new alliance between Chicago SHRM and a DePaul University’s School for New Learning (SNL), a pioneer in adult learning. This new alliance will benefit Chicago SHRM members in a number of ways, including:
—Chicago SHRM members can now apply your SHRM certifications toward DePaul undergraduate and graduate degrees.
—Prepare to take your SHRM certification exams with DePaul’s prep courses
—Chicago SHRM members have a new resource to support employee development through SNL programs, as well as DePaul’s Department of Continuing and Professional Education.
—Chicago SHRM members receive HRCI credit for the newly launched Adult Learning Innovation Institute, housed at SNL.
About the School for New Learning
Founded 40 years ago, the School for New Learning at DePaul University caters to the needs of adult students, age 24 and older, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs that are customized to your interests and intended career path. Classes are offered in the evenings and on weekends on DePaul’s Loop, O’Hare, Naperville and Oak Forest campuses as well as online.
At SNL, adult students can meet some of their degree requirements by demonstrating skills and knowledge they have already mastered through work and life experiences, including previous college course work, career achievements and certificate programs.
