CHEWELAH COMMUNITY ARTS SHOW

The Chewelah ARTS Guild presents the 18thannual Community Arts Show.
Artists of all ages, medium and proficiencies are invited to celebrate the ARTS with the community. PARTICIPATION & ADMISSION ARE FREE! Encourage family and friends to participate and attend!
* Up to 4 “new” (preferably not shown before) paintings, photographs, collages, sculptures, etc., can be submitted by each artist. Limit large pieces (larger than 4’ x 3’) to two of the four entries. ARTS Guild members will hang the show. BE SELECTIVE.
NOTE: All Hanging Pieces MUST BE framed and wired by you for hanging.
Table-top pieces must be firmly matted.
LABEL all art work with Title and Artist Name on the back of each piece.
* The ARTS Guild cannot handle sales, but provides a table where artist business cards and other sales information is clearly displayed. Art work sells every year from this event.
* Artists with work like pottery, sculptures, glass, wood, jewelry, may set up their own displays. Display space is limited so, please BESELECTIVE. Easels and decorative items that enhance displays are welcome and must be clearly labeled with Artist name and phone #.
* ENTRIES MUST BE at the Civic Center between 1:00 and 4:00 pm on THURS., February 15th. Please PICK THEM UP between 3:00 and 4:00 pm on SUNDAY, February18th, and NOT BEFORE. NOTE: If unable to pick them up at that time, you must arrange beforehand, for someone to pick them up for you by 4:00 pm.
* Blank NAMETAGS for your artworks are PROVIDED by the ARTS Guild. Please PRINT your NAME, TITLE of artwork and if applicable, the price of the item with a BLACK ‘SHARPIE-type' pen. Use of these nametags throughout the exhibit makes information easily visible and the overall exhibit appearance uniform.
LIABILITY RELEASE forms are included here and MUST BE filled out when entries are submitted for the show.

The ARTS Guild has a fund-raising ART auction during the annualA Taste of Chewelah. Artist donations for this event are encouraged and appreciated! If you would like to donate to this fundraiser, please bring donated items on Sunday, February 18th, 2018.
