Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Component A

Create 5 units of CRAW.

Weaving in diagonal direction, connect 4 units of CRAW.

Embellish the top of CRAW by adding blue seedbeads at the center of each unit. Add blue beads on the back side as well. When finished, secure your thread and set aside.

Side view, where you see the blue beads on the front and back side.

Step 2: Component B

Do the same process as you did with component A. Create component B with 3 units of CRAW then weave in diagonal direction to create 2 more units. Once the component is finished add the blue beads on the front at the center of each unit. Don't forget to add blue beads on the back side.

Step 3: Component C

Create 1 cube. Add blue beads on front and back side.

...and here are the components. They have blue beads on top and back side.

Step 4: Construct the earrings

Secure your thread onto component A. Pass the thread thru the center of the 1st or last unit then string a silver bead, bicone & silver bead.

Step 5:

Bring up component B and pass the thread thru the center of the 1st or last unit then string silver bead, bicone & silver bead.

Step 6:

Bring up component C and pass the thread thru the center of the unit.

String 6 silver beads then weave in circular direction, passing thru the adjacent side of the cube and into the center of the unit.

Pull the thread and you have formed a bail.

Step 7:

Continue to string a silver bead, bicone & silver bead to attach component B. Do the same to attach component A. Secure your thread and cut off the excess. Attach ear wire.

Repeat from start and create a pair.

About The Author

I consider myself a late bloomer when it comes to crafting. I’m a self-taught jewelry maker. Jewelry making wasn’t really a hobby of mine, but unforeseen events lead me to learn jewellery making. My family put up a craft store where we sell cross stitch, beads and all sorts of crafting materials. I fell in love with the beads and tried to create accessories only for myself. Clients liked the pieces and I started customizing handmade jewelleries. The craft store was a success for 6 years, but like any other small businesses we had to close it down and I was confined to staying at home. While at home I had all the time using the internet and now working as a home-based jewelry designer
