CHANGE IN SCHOOL CALENDAR

Please make a note of the NEW, non-student school days on the revised school calendar for this year. Students will not have school on:

  • Friday, January 30, 2015
  • Friday, February 27, 2015
  • Friday, March 20, 2015
  • Friday, April 24, 2015

The adjustment to the calendar is being made to reflect professional development days for staff. Please check the district website, our school’s website page, or the District’s Facebook page for the list of dates. Thank you and remember, every day that school is in session… Attendance Counts!

GET INVOLVED!

We are always looking for parent volunteers!!

ELAC – if your child is an English Language Learner, please come to the meeting on Jan. 13th.

Talent Show – The more parents to help with practices and performance, the better!

Track Team – The more parents to help with events, the better!

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY

Please note that Grandparents’ Day has been moved from January 30th to January 29th due to the change in the school calendar. We will follow a similar schedule as last year where the grandparents’ visited in the classrooms, then had punch and popcorn in the pods. A schedule will come home soon.

FOOD for LIFE FOOD DRIVE

WOW!! Our families are the best!! Howard Cattle families donated so much canned and boxed food items that the truck driver for Food for Life Ministries had to make two trips! That is four Gaylord boxes of food filled to the top! Food for Life said that was more than all of the schools combined so far!! Excellent work, Rustler families!

GOT CHARACTER…We do!!!

We like to recognize students who are showing good character. Tickets are drawn weekly and their actions are shared school-wide.
