ANNUAL GENERAL COUNCIL MEETING

TUESDAY 3 JUNE 2014

AT MOSS FARM, NORTHWICH, 8:00PM

MINUTES

1) Members Present: Altrincham FC, Chester & District Girls, Crewe & Nantwich

Girls, Crosfields Juniors, Davenham JFC, Egerton FC, Fife Rangers, Frodsham

Juniors, Halton Girls, Lymm Rovers, Northwich Vickies, Sandbach Utd, Vulcan

Juniors, AFC Waverton, Winsford Diamonds.

New Clubs: Manor JFC, Runcorn Linnetts

2) Apologies for absence: Richmond Rovers FC and

Stoke Town

Members Not Present:None

3) Minutes of previous AGM meeting – Held 11 June 13 were accepted –

Proposed by Vulcan, Seconded by Davenham

4) Chairman’s Annual Report:-

Fred Burgess gave his Annual report.

20 Clubs Started and we ended up with 19 clubs due to the dismissal of Appleton

from the League. We have enquiries from 19 clubs for next season with the loss

of Richmond Rovers, Ellesmere Port and Bradwell Belles from the league.

Congratulations to all finalists in the CountyCup with some great finals played at

Barnton FC. A list of all winners of league and cups will be on the website shortly.

U8’s development thanks to Steph for all her efforts and we will keep pushing this

next season.

Thanks to all the players and all the parents for their support, management of

Moss Farm, for referees on match days and for the new referees that our league

has given a positive experience to.To Club Officials for supporting the code of

conduct.

Finally thank you to Steve Simmons and Nigel Bassnett for their support over the

many years that they have been involved in the league.

5)Adoption of Statement of Accounts for season 13/14:to be presented at September’s meeting.

6) Election of Officers to the Management Committee

No new nominations had been received and current officers were happy to

continue. If anyone wishes to join the Committee and help out then let Kath

Burgess know.

7) Constitution of League for season 2014/2015

U8’s–Set dates and bring them down to develop into a league.

U10’s - 11 Existing Clubs + 2 new clubs Cuddington and Runcorn

Linnetts

U12’s - 20/21 Existing Clubs

U14’s - 15 Existing Clubs + 2 new clubs Manor JFC (2 teams) + Stoke

Town

U16’s - 13/14 Existing Clubs

8) Alternations to Administration Rules.

-No back pass for all age groups.

-Email communication is to be via the club secretary or nominated girls’ secretary only. Breaches of this will be fined £20

-Photograph of playing kit for all teams must accompany the team application forms.

9) Registrations

There has been a deadline date set for Registrations of Saturday 2nd August

from 9.30 am to 5pm and appointments will be issued. Registrations can be

received before this date either by email or post to Harvey Powell. New

registration form will be on the website first thing in the morning therefore giving

8 weeks for teams to complete them.

All team paperwork must be completed by this date as well.

Minimum number of player registration forms that need to be completed and returned by the 2nd August are:

U10’s - 5

U12’s - 7

U14’s - 11

U16’s - 11

Last seasons cards must be returned either attached to the new forms or by

post if completing by email.

There will be a new De-registration form as requested by the FA to capture

data regarding girls leaving football as to why they have left. This will also

ensure that the correct number of players for games when postponements are

requested can be verified. This will also be available on the website.

Cheshire Affiliations can be completed on line through the Whole Game

System, they are still having a few issues but if you need any further

information or help then contact Cheshire FA.

Managers and Assistant ID Badges - Will be reissued to managers as long as

their CRB Check is in date and they are on members services.

10) Start and Conclusion of Season

Season will start on Saturday 13th September 2014 and will finish on Saturday

25th April 2015 (Subject to weather and may be extended)

May have to play through Half Term holidays. It has not yet been decided and

will be weather dependent again.

If you wish to enter the County Cup copetitions at U16s and U14s then you have to complete this on your club affiliation forms. You are not automatically entered as previously.

11) Fees for Next Season

Club registration - £25 Team Registration - £20 Player Registration - £7.50

Increase in Team registration from £15 to £20 - This has not increased in the

past 6 years

Referees fees will stay the same. - U10’s - 5 aside - £5 each team

7 aside - £7 each team

U12’s - 7 aside - £7 each team

9 aside - £7.50 each team

U14’s - £9 each team

U16’s - £10 each team

12)Dates of meetings for 2014/2015

Sept Nov/Dec Jan/Feb Mar June (AGM)

Plus compulsory Respect meeting for ALL registered team coaches to be

held during the season.

13) Club Secretary of the season

Matt Kinnear from Sandbach United - Big thank you for all his hard work and

he will be missed from the league as he stands down.

14) AOB

Apologies for Final Day presentations - Lessons have beenlearnt and

improvements will be made for next season.

Steph gave out Liverpool Ladies flyer re free tickets for all qualified coaches.

Female Ref’s course dates out but if the dates are not working then please

contact Trevor Massey as they will arrange other dates.

Steph said a big thank you from Cheshire FA to the Cheshire Girls League for

being such a well run league.
