CHESHAM & AMERSHAM CONSERVATIVE ASSOCIATION

AN INVITATION TO JOIN THE SUPPER CLUB

Suppers are held at the most agreeable premises of the Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club, Ash Grove, Weedon Lane (off Copperkins Lane), Amersham, HP6 5QU, usually on the second Friday of each month, excepting August. There is ample parking.

Members gather at 7.30 for 8 p.m. They bring with them their own wine to accompany the tasty three-course supper and coffee or tea prepared by the in-house caterers. Wine glasses and chilled water are provided. Our Membership Secretary, Mrs Margaret Hedger, draws up a seating plan and you can request a seat with particular friends if you so wish. Supper is followed by a talk from the month's guest speaker. As you will see from the listing overleaf, they cover a wide variety of topics, some accompanied by slides. The evenings finish at about 10.30 p.m.

A monthly Newsletter keeps you up to date with the Club's news and includes a booking form for the forthcoming supper. (Please note that we do not issue tickets). The hall is spacious, so members are welcome to bring guests although, should a particular speaker prove highly popular, members would take precedence over guests.

Membership of the Supper Club is open to all paid-up members of the Chesham & Amersham Conservative Association. The cost of annual Club membership is £10 for a couple or £6 for a single member. The cost of the supper is currently £16.50, which is payable by cheque when submitting your monthly application. (Cheques payable to 'Conservative Supper Club' please.)

If you would like to join the Supper Club, please complete the form below and send it to Mrs Hedger at the address provided.
