During the road closure, the road will not be available for travel whatsoever. If you need to use your vehicle during the 24-hour period of road closure, please plan ahead by parking your vehicle outside of the area designated as closed (see other side).

WHY IS MY ROAD CLOSING?

Roads in your subdivision are having a High Density Mineral Bond installed that will keep your roads in good condition for an extended period of time. You can expect less cracking and potholes as your roads age after receiving this treatment.

MY ROAD IS IN GOOD CONDITION, WHY IS SOMETHING BEING INSTALLED?

This is a proactive strategy to extend pavement serviceability while the road is still in good condition. Once roads begin to deteriorate, more costly and intrusive rehabilitation is required. Having roads in good condition will help support his/her property values and as well as reduce intrusive road closures costly rehabilitation over time.

WHAT IF I DRIVE ON THE ROAD WHILE CLOSED?

You will be liable for damage to your vehicle and to repair the area of road you have driven on. Minimum repair cost is $600, maximum $3,000, to repair the installed surface treatment.

SPRINKLERS MUST BE TURNED OFF

Water may damage the installation of the surface treatment. Please do not have sprinklers set to come on 24 hours before the road closure, during the road closure, or 24 hours after the road closure. Damage due to sprinkler will result in the same repair cost of $600 minimum, $3,000 maximum, to repair the installed surface treatment.

Parking

Please plan ahead. Park outside of the areas identified above the night before if you will need access to your vehicle after 7:00 AM. Do not park within 20 feet of the traffic cones. If you choose to park on your driveway do not park within 15 feet of the street; Holbrook asphalt will not responsible for damaged cars parked any closer.

Towing

Please remove vehicles parked on the roads to be closed. Any car parked on the road at time of closure will be towed at the owner’s expense.
