Additional descriptive Info about programs:

Dreyfus Foundation Special Program in the Chemical Sciences

Interested in proposals that increase public awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the chemical sciences; innovative approaches to chemistry education, efforts to make chemistry careers more attractive.

Henry Dreyfus Teacher Scholar Award

One nomineemay be submitted each year the institution. Nominees must hold a full-time tenure-track academic appointment, be between the fourth and twelfth years of their independent academic careers, and be engaged in research and teaching primarily with undergraduates.

Dreyfus Senior Scholar Mentors

For applicants who are closely engaged in a mentoring relationship with undergraduate students. Evaluation is based on assessmentof the research proposed and plans for undergraduate participation in the research.

Sloan Research Fellowships

For tenure-track faculty be no more than six years from completion of the most recent Ph.D. or equivalent, unless they have held a faculty appointment for less than two years or unless one of the following special circumstances apply: military service, a change of field, or child rearing.
