Instruction to Authors

Submission

The electronic versions of papers should be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief:

General

The papers submitted should correspond to one of the following sections: Waste-free and low-waste chemical processes, Secondary chemical products and their use, Chemistry without solvents, Energy saving in chemical industry, Chemical methods of obtaining synthetic fuel, Chemistry of the objects of human habitat, Chemical aspects of safety, Chemistry of natural and biologically active compounds, Natural chemical indicators of global environmental changes, Medicinal chemistry. Reviews should not exceed 25 standard pages in length, papers – 10 pages, short communications – 4 pages, letters – 2 pages.

Electronic version is preferable. Papers should be typed in English, double spaced and single-sided; pages should be numbered beginning with the title page. The first page of an article should contain the title of the paper, the name(s) and address(es) of the author(s), and a keywords. An abstract of 200–250 words and a short title containing 3–4 words should be presented on a separate sheet.

The name and address (e-mail) of the corresponding author should be indicated in a cover letter.

Text

Text should be submitted as a WinWord file. Headings and subheadings for different sections of the paper (e.g., Introduction, Experimental, Results and Discussion, Conclusions) should be clearly indicated. Equations should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in parentheses on the right-hand side of the page. Authors should use relative atomic masses as accepted by IUPAC. Units of measurement, abbreviations and symbols should follow the International System of Units (SI).

Tables and Figures

Tables should be supplied with short informative titles and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals. Camera-ready figures(not more then 4 for experimental articles and not more then 7 for reviews) should be submitted as separate CDR, PCX or TIF files in the same software product (application) which was used to prepare them. Image resolution must be no less than 300 or 600 dpi. Photographs should be sharp and printed on mat paper. All figures and tables should be cited consecutively in the text and a list of short descriptive captions should be provided at the end of the paper.

References

References should be cited in the text using a number in square brackets in order of appearance. References should be listed at the end of the paper in numerical order.
