Nearby motorway links are M4 (J19) and M32 (J1). As shown below, offices are opposite Bristol Parkway Train Station on SOUTHERN side of tracks. From Train Station, exit its car park and turn left onto Hatchet Road. Go underneath a (railway) bridge, and turn left at the roundabout onto Church Road. Take the 1st left at the next roundabout, go through the security gates (code needed) and park by the offices at the top right hand corner of the compound.

COMMITTEE ELECTIONS/VACANCIES

Committee Elections

The committee can co-opt when necessary, members to replace those who, for various reasons, have resigned from the committee.


Similarly, the committee is empowered to co-opt standing or sub-committee members for the purpose of that committee and who shall be entitled to vote within such a committee. There were 7 new members co-opted onto the committee this year. Under the terms of our constitution and the present rules of administration for the regions, elected members of the region must stand down after serving three years. They may however offer themselves for re-election.


The following members are required to stand down under the three year rule:

Committee Vacancies 2010-2013
The current committee stands at 13 members, 3 of which undertake 4 specific roles (Mr Nigel Roberts sharing Acting Chairman and Treasurer, Mr Glyn Hunt as Secretary, and Mr Andrew Turner as EPD&M regional representative). There are currently 4 vacant specified roles.

Nominations for all 7 vacancies are hereby invited:

Under the Constitution, The Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary are required to serve a maximum of two years in office before standing down. Mr Nigel Roberts, Mr Andrew Turner and Mr Glyn Hunt are therefore all required to stand down and seek re-election under current rules.
