Character Synopsis

Main Cast

Tristan Scott Sutton – 19. The golden boy. An All-State pitcher for PalmettoPointeHigh School, he’s always wanted to pitch in the majors. He left everything behind just after his parents died to make his dream come true by way of the Southeastern Summer League playing for the Tallahassee Cardinals. He has the talent to make it, but his temper takes his focus away and keeps him from realizing his full potential. Will he be able to overcome the ghosts of the past, or will they haunt him for the rest of his life? Only time will tell.

Logan Marcus Jones – 19. Being the son of a successful lawyer is never an easy thing to handle. Add a bit of a violent drunken twist, and it gets even worse. Throw in that your mother left a year earlier, and you have the model dysfunctional family of Palmetto Pointe. Logan takes it all in stride, usually having his best friend, Tristan, to lean on when times get rough, but Tristan left 3 months ago to go play ball. How has Logan been handling things since, and how will he handle them from now on?

Millison Michelle Avery – 19. Recently moved to Palmetto Pointe. As opposed to Logan, her family life is the stuff of dreams. Her dad, a firefighter, seeks to guide her in her journey to adulthood. She works at the local restaurant/bar, the City Bar, volunteers as a candy striper, and, often times, is the glue that keeps these friends together. She seems perfect, but what hides behind those big brown eyes?

Lacy Marie Timberline – 18. Rich parents, great looks, sassy attitude, all the things that make a girl happy, right? Every guy’s dream and every woman’s envy, Lacy really is deeper than most can see, or she will let them see. She was dating Tristan before he bolted to Tallahassee, something she hasn’t forgotten, nor forgiven. What will happen when the golden boy returns to pitch the game of this life? More importantly, what will she do when he wants to pick up where they left off?

Joshua (Josh) Albert Davidson – 19. A year changes some people more than others. In the case of Josh Davidson, a year changes a lot. He went from being geek to “chic” with a newfound confidence. Of course, he has a way to go before he completely turns the corner, but, with the help of his beautiful girlfriend, Callah, and her best friend, Lacy, it is only a matter of time before Josh completely breaks out of his shell.

Callah Shannon O’Connell– 18. This aspiring actress will do anything to make it. When I say anything, I do mean anything. This girl would put any women on Fear Factor® to shame. She is dating the “new” Josh Davidson, but, deep down, always liked him for who he is, not who he tries (often, too hard) to be. Callah is a down-to-earth, sometimes tomboyish young woman with a heart of gold, but how far will she go to reach the stars of her dreams?

Supporting Characters

Jason Anthony Sutton – 25, Tristan’s older brother. He runs the City Bar with Melinda Gale. Has a few issues with the little brother who ran away just after their parents died. Tristan left him with everything to deal with, and won’t soon let him forget about it. Where Tristan uses baseball to relieve his demons, Jason uses his guitar and music. Just as stubborn as Tristan, he does what he can for his little brother without letting him completely off the hook.

Melinda Caitlin Gale – 30, Owns the City Bar. Thoughtful and sweet natured, she is always around to help anyone with any problem they may have. She seems to have affection for Jason that isn’t strictly platonic, but who knows if that will ever surface?

Murphy Collins – 23, Catcher for the Tallahassee Cardinals and Tristan’s best (and, probably, only) friend on the team. He loves to get a laugh almost as much as he loves the ladies. If parting were a sport, this man would be a first ballot hall of famer. While he loves the ladies, he loves baseball even more. He is committed to helping out his “wingman” any way he can, whether it is getting the win, or the ladies.

Michael Jones – 41, The best lawyer in the town of Palmetto Pointe. Overbearing and temperamental, he pushes his son, Logan, harder than he even pushes himself. He drinks far too much and, often times, becomes violent with Logan, or anyone else around him, for that matter. Even though he only wants the best for his son, he pushes him away by being a real life Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Can he change before it’s too late?

Elizabeth Revell-Jones – 40, Loving, hardworking mother, loyal, supportive wife. What more can any man ask for? Apparently, Michael also wanted a sparing partner. After leaving the Jones house a year ago, but is ready to return to Palmetto Pointe, not to fix her marriage, but to ask Logan to come back with her. How will Logan react to a mother who hasn’t spoken a word to him since she left a year ago? More importantly, how will Michael react to a wife that did the same?

Todd James Avery – 41, Supportive fatherly guide in Millison’s life, Todd has always been there for Millison, as much as a full time firefighter can. Despite his 24/24 work schedule, he always manages to find time for his princess. Wise in counsel and gentle in deed, he leads by example and has taught his daughter the right way to live. He is beginning to feel confident that Millison will be alright should something happen on the job.
