CHANGES & REFUND PROCEDURES FOR SUSPENDED FLIGHTS BETWEEN

PRAGUE (PRG) AND MONTREAL (YMQ) WITH EFFECTIVENESS 17th JANUARY 2008

Please be informed that Czech Airlines (OK) has decided not to continue its scheduled flights to/from Montreal (YMQ). Please note following indications regarding the passenger’s assistance to be provided:

Last flight OK 104 from PRG to YMQ will operate on 07th January 2008.

Last flight OK 105 from YMQ to PRG will operate on 07th January 2008.

Last flight OK 108 from PRG to YMQ will operate on 17th January 2008.

Last flight OK 109 from YMQ to PRG will operate on 17th January 2008.

All fares and pricing products distributed for the flight service between PRG and YMQ are going to be limited for application till the last operation date. With immediate effect we stop allowing issuance of open tickets using CSA fares which include transportation to/from cancelled destination. The entire travel under CSA fares is necessary to be completed by the date of last operating flight.

Existing reservations will be cancelled without any protection. The booking agent will receive information about the cancelled segment as a Queue message. The agents will be responsible for contacting the passenger.

CSA allow a free reservation change for any earlier CSA flight between PRG and YMQ.

Refund of unused/partly unused OK validated ticket will be provided only to the passengers holding confirmed ticket.

Change of the itinerary for other airlines is permitted provided standard rules for involuntary procedures. It is highly recommended to keep following priorities in case of passenger’s rerouting :

  • use of OK 050 / 051 flights operating between PRG and JFK
  • use of SkyTeam carriers flights (DL,CO possibly NW, AF, AZ, KL),
  • use of other carriers flights (when travel documents are reciprocally accepted).

By involuntary rerouting, the lowest booking class available to be used with respect to the travel class “business / economy” booked on the original ticket. If allowed by general regulation on the given market, it is not necessary to reissue the original ticket and the validation sticker can be used with remark „INVOLUNTARY REBOOKED DUE TO CNCLD OK… FLT“. The same information to be entered into the changed reservation. An electronic ticket to be revalidated or reissued as a paper ticket when needed.

PRAGUE (PRG) AND TORONTO (YTO) WITH EFFECTIVENESS 17th JANUARY 2008

Please be informed that Czech Airlines (OK) has decided to temporarily discontinue its scheduled flights to/from Toronto (YTO). Please note following indications regarding the passenger’s assistance to be provided:

Last flight OK 108 from PRG to YTO will operate on 17th January 2008.

Last flight OK 109 from YTO to PRG will operate on 17th January 2008.

Resumption of Czech Airlines operation between Prague (PRG) and Toronto (YTO) is estimated in June 2008. More details are going to be distributed later.
