1.RequiredAdmissionDocumentation.

ForadmissiontoanAlabamaCommunityCollegeSystem(ACCS)institution,aninternationalstudentmustprovide:

AninternationalstudentwhofailstoprovidetherequireddocumentationwillnotbeadmittedtoanyACCS
institution.

EachACCSinstitutionisresponsibleforreviewingthedocumentationtoensurethestudenthasadequatehealthandlifeinsurancewhichisinclusiveofarepatriationbenefit.Theinstitutionmayprovidealistofavailableinsuranceprovidersforinternationalstudentsseekingcoverage.

2.EnglishasaSecondLanguageExamWaiver.

TheEnglishasaSecondLanguageexammaybewaivedforstudentsfromallEnglishspeakingcountriesincludingbutnotlimitedto:Anguilla,AntiguaandBarbuda,Australia(AustralianEnglish),theBahamas,Barbados,Bermuda,Belize(BelizeanKriol),theBritishIndianOceanTerritory,theBritishVirginIslands,Canada(CanadianEnglish),theCaymanIslands,Dominica,theFalklandIslands,Gibraltar,Grenada,Guam,Guernsey(ChannelIslandEnglish),Guyana,Ireland(Hiberno-English),IsleofMan(ManxEnglish),Jamaica(JamaicanEnglish),Jersey,Montserrat,Nauru,NewZealand(NewZealandEnglish),Nigeria,PitcairnIslands,SaintHelena,SaintKittsandNevis,SaintLucia,SaintVincentandtheGrenadines,Tanzania,Singapore,SouthGeorgiaandtheSouthSandwichIslands,TrinidadandTobago,theTurksandCaicosIslands,TheGambia,theUnitedKingdom,theU.S.VirginIslands,andtheUnitedStates.

Otherwaivers,withsubstantialdocumentation,mustbesubmittedtotheChancellorforapproval.

3.AdmissiontoanACCSinstitutiondoesnotensureadmissiontoanyindividualprogramorcourse.Institutionsareexpectedtocomplywithallapplicableaccreditationrequirementsandstandardsregardingprogramadmission.

ImmunizationForm

To ensure the health and safety of our campus, immunizations against communicable disease is extremelyimportant. Vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Tetanus, and Meningococcal is required, aswell as a negative Tuberculosis skin test. This is a requirement for all International Students. This form must becompleted and submitted prior to admission in any ACCS institution.
