Chalk on the Blackboard

Here is the latest news and information from the Historic 1916 Buffalo High School located at 303 Pearl Street in Buffalo, North Dakota.

The old school was alive with the spirit of Christmas during our Holiday Open Houses the last two weekends. Our local vendors and crafters provided a unique shopping experience for all our friends and family who stopped by with their Christmas wish lists. Holiday foods and fun were enjoyed by everyone.

We are now busy preparing for the last, but very important, event at the Historic 1916 Buffalo High School this year. A special fundraiser for the Buffalo Food Market will be on Friday, December 30, at 7 pm. The Board of Directors for the Buffalo Food Market cordially invites you to Christmas on Pearl Street with Sue Ann Berntson and Family who will create a magical evening to remember with their amazing music and high energy. This holiday spectacular will feature solos and duets, comedy and skits, and maybe a special appearance by the one and only Elvis.

The doors will open at 6:30 pm before the performance begins at 7 pm in the Assembly Room on the second floor. Advanced tickets are recommended since seating is limited. You can purchase your $10 ticket at the Buffalo Food Market or any Buffalo retail business. Please call Marian Kasowski, the event coordinator, at 701-633-5546 to purchase your tickets or for more information.

The Buffalo Food Market, a vital and important asset to our community, will directly benefit from every $10 ticket purchased. Any and all donations will also be accepted at the reception immediately following the performance where you can enjoy a variety of homemade desserts and coffee in the West Room on the main level.

We believe in the magic of Christmas, especially at 303 Pearl Street, and want to wish everyone all the joys of the season. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, December 30 at the fundraiser, Christmas on Pearl Street with SueAnn Berntson and Family, to benefit the Buffalo Food Market, as we celebrate the end of 2016 and look forward to the New Year.
