CESSE in the market as the key resource to science, technology, and engineering associations / Definition: Build the financial business model, infrastructure, and staff to drive sustainable organizational success
Purpose: To elevate the range of resources and solutions available to our societies / Purpose: To raise the capacity of leadership professionals within science, technology and engineering associations / Purpose: To expand awareness and connection among individual stakeholders, and to develop a leadership pipeline within CESSE / Purpose: To communicate our value and agenda to current and prospective stakeholders to drive action / Purpose: To ensure the long term viability of the organization to meet stakeholder needs
Initiatives:
  1. Fosters sharing of models and practices through on-line forums and programming
  2. Explore external industries and new content distribution channels for bringing fresh thinking into the community
  3. Actively highlight and share best practices from member organizations
/ Initiatives:
  1. Define ‘leader’ within our space (body of knowledge or KSAs required)
  2. Define skills and characteristics of high potential leaders
  3. Create exceptional meeting experiences that reinforce member value and loyalty
  4. Evaluate add’l programmatic needs for stakeholders, i.e., a mentor program for high potential leaders

  1. Define scope of membership eligibility
  2. Develop CESSE recruitment goals and narrative
  3. Consider alternative governance models, specifically high performing board role, and volunteer leadership development
  4. Redesign the partnership model to maximize mutual value
