Accurately prepare assembly, detail and proposal drawings as required to support customer proposals and orders. Design and check any similar-to-standard or standard seal, and process any reference or revision work.
Perform design calculations necessary to design seal assemblies, such as Boundary Calculations, Tolerance Analysis, etc.
Provide input to library standards for working information in developing drawings to ensure required information is available when needed, these relate to, example, mechanical & electrical services (HVAC, drainage, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical services, and building work drawings).Translate design results into workable drawings/schematics, under limited supervision, for review by Design Team Leader or supervisor.
Perform initial design aspects and calculations for review by the Design Team Leader.
Develop independent resolution of common or recurring design problems within standard procedures. Supervise the activities of the CAD Operators to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings produced.

Reports to respective Section Head. Works in the drawing office along with other draftsman and is custodian of Engineering Drawings, Reference manuals, Specification records and other archived technical data and records. To prepare drawings of Mechanical, Civil, structural, instrument, electrical, static & rotating equipment based on design sheet, sketches or instructions received from Supervisor & concerned Engineers. To make field visits to confirm actual status and update drawings. To design and draft detailed working drawings on approved preliminary sketches, or manufacture's drawings, foundations, elevations, profiles, section details, site plans, sewage and plumbing features, equipment and piping layout.
Command in writing, understanding and communicating English, Urdu.
