QUOTATION CALL NOTICE

Centre for Environmental Studies, Bhubaneswar invites sealed quotations from interested reputed registered printing firms having up to date VAT clearance certificate and adequate experience in taking up the digital printing and report designing. The detailed terms & conditions are available in the websites i.e. which may be downloaded for use. Interested firms may submit their sealed quotations to the undersigned through Speed Post/ Registered Post/ Drop Box placed in the office only. The quotations in sealed cover must reach the above address of Centre for Environmental Studies (CES) on or before 2 p.m. of 08/03/2017. These sealed quotations will be opened at 3 p.m. on 08/03/2017. The Quotationers or their authorized representative may remain present at the time of opening of sealed Quotations. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason thereof. They may see the previous report i.e. last year’s report in the office during office hours for reference.

The terms and conditions which will be applicable, are as follows:

  1. 5 nos. of reports containing approx. 200 A/4 size pages including cover pages are to be printed. The number of pages may be reduced or increased based on actual requirement which will be decided by the Centre of Environmental Studies (CES).
  2. Rate will be quoted for designing and printing (including paper cost) for both cover pages (excluding inside of cover page) and all inner pages for multi colour printing. Designing will also include photo scanning, editing, graph & table setting etc. Rate will be quoted for cover page and inner page separately. The rate per one cover page and the rate per one inner page will be quoted in the annexed proforma (Annexure-I)both in figure and words. This will be duly signed along with the seal of the firm as specified in Annexure-I.
  3. Cover page should be 300 GSM Art paper and inner page should be 170 GSM Art paper.
  4. The total cost will be derived by arriving at total number of pages after finalisation of number of pages by CES.
  5. Taxes if applicable should be mentioned separately.
  6. Quotations received after the due date and time shall not be entertained.
  7. Printing firm having similar experience in taking up the digital printing & report designing shall furnish such details.
  8. All works are to be completed within 10 days after getting the work order.
  9. CES will not be bound to accept the lowest quotations and an order can be placed on any firm considered suitable for this job. The decision of the Director, CES will be final in this regard.
  10. Delivery of the printed matter is the responsibility of the printer / supplier.
  11. CES will not make any advance payment to the organisation. The amount will be paid only after satisfactory completion of the job.
  12. The soft copy of the entire report after finalisation will be submitted by the firm to the CES.

I hereby quote the above rates, keeping in view all the terms and conditions and the stipulations of the Quotation Call Notice which will be strictly adhered / followed by me. The cost of paper is also included in the quoted in the quoted rates.
